Frequently asked questions

Accounts are optional. You can play every wvorigin game as a guest — an account just keeps your progress safe and lets you pick up where you left off on any device.

Optional, guest-first

You never need an account to play. As a guest, your progress is saved locally on your device. Create an account only if you want that progress backed up and synced across devices and game updates.

Creating an account

Inside a game, open the 👤 profile screen and choose Register. You'll need:

• A username (3–20 letters, digits, _ or -) — shown on the leaderboards. Offensive usernames or names impersonating wvorigin/staff are not allowed and will be suspended.
• An email address — used only to confirm your account and to reset your password.
• A password (at least 10 characters). The game can generate a strong one for you.
• Email confirmation — we send you a link, and your account stays inactive until you click it (double opt-in).

What an account gives you

• 🔄 Your progress synced across devices and kept safe through game updates.
• 🏆 A consistent name on the global leaderboards.
• 🔐 Secure sign-in with revocable sessions — log out anywhere, any time.

How we use your email

We only email you to confirm your account, to reset your password, and — if you explicitly opt in — for occasional product updates. No ads, and we never sell your address. Email is sent via Resend on EU infrastructure (eu-west-1).

Deleting your account

You're always in control. Delete your account anytime from the 👤 profile screen (or email [email protected]). Your account is deactivated immediately, then permanently erased after a 6-week grace period — along with your progress and sign-in tokens. Changed your mind? Just log back in within those 6 weeks and your account is fully restored.

Yes. Every wvorigin game runs free in your browser — no download, no payment, no account required. We may show ads, and there will be an optional purchase to remove them.

No — but we recommend an account. You can play everything as a guest, with progress saved on your device; however, guest progress can be lost when the game updates. An account backs it up, syncs it across devices, and reserves your username so no one else can use it. See the accounts section above for details.

Start an online race from the menu, share the four-digit room code with a friend, and you race live from different devices. The same twist applies: whoever finishes last wins.

The site and games are available in English, Dutch, Spanish, German and Italian. We follow your browser's language automatically, and you can switch anytime with the 🌐 picker.
