Snail Racer turns racing on its head: cross the finish line LAST to win. Munch leaves to slow down, kiss rival snails to freeze them, and duck into restaurants to load up on… ammunition. Lay burning slime trails, fire bombs backwards and skateboards forwards, and outsmart the AI snails across more than ten escalating levels.
Game modes
- Endless — survive as long as you can on an ever-faster track; your score is the time you last. Hits the global leaderboard.
- Levels — more than ten hand-built tracks, each unlocking the next. The slowest finish time wins.
- Couch co-op — two players on one keyboard, split screen (keyboard required).
- Online multiplayer — up to four players race live. Host a room or join with a four-digit code; slowest still wins.

Strategy: how to lose (and win)
Snail Racer flips racing logic on its head. Speed is your enemy and patience is your weapon. The clock and the track punish whoever rushes ahead, so the real skill is staying in control of how slow you can go while forcing everyone else forward. Here is how the best last-place finishers think:
- Eat everything green. Leaves slow you down — exactly what you want. Munch every leaf you can reach and you will happily drift to the back of the pack.
- Kiss to stall. Smooching a rival snail freezes you in place for four glorious seconds. Time it near the finish line and you can let the whole field cross ahead of you.
- Dine out. Ducking into a restaurant slows you hard and loads you up with "ammunition" for later sabotage. A full belly is a winning belly.
- Avoid water and ice. Puddles speed you up and ice rinks launch you forward — both are disasters. Steer around them or you may accidentally win… by finishing first.
Items & sabotage
Half the fun is ruining your opponents' day. Snail Racer gives you a small arsenal:
- 💣 Bombs fire backwards and knock the snail behind you forward — straight toward the finish line they are trying to avoid.
- 🛹 Skateboards fire forwards and shove the snail ahead of you even further ahead.
- 💩 Slime trails can be laid behind you after a restaurant visit. Any snail that drives through your trail catches fire 🔥 and speeds up uncontrollably — only water or ice puts them out.
- Keep your distance. At short range, projectiles cannot be dodged. Hang back and you control every duel.
More than ten increasingly wild levels
We launched with ten — and we keep adding more. From a gentle first crawl to a Final-Boss showdown, each track piles on a new way to be gloriously slow: leaves and restaurants, water and ice, bombs and skateboards, slime storms and ever-smarter AI snails. New levels keep slithering in, so the trail only gets wilder. Slow is fast, and last is first.
